Tabatha Bazzell (she/her)

I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #164731) dedicated to creating a space where people can show up as their full, authentic selves. I believe healing happens through connection, curiosity, and compassion, and I strive to meet each person where they are without judgment. My work is grounded in a holistic, trauma-informed approach that recognizes the ways our relationships, identities, lived experiences, and environments shape who we are. I work collaboratively with clients of all ages to explore challenges, build resilience, and move toward a life that feels more aligned and fulfilling.

While I welcome anyone who is ready to begin or continue their healing journey, I have a particular passion for working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, people exploring gender identity and expression, those in polyamorous or consensually non-monogamous relationships, and individuals navigating complex trauma, self-harm, and the impacts of marginalization or socio-political stress.

My therapeutic approach is interdisciplinary, attachment-informed, and tailored to each client's unique experiences, strengths, and goals. I do not believe there is a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, so I work collaboratively with clients to find what feels most supportive and meaningful for them. My work is informed by several evidence-based and experiential approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experience (SE), Gestalt therapy, humanistic, and existential perspectives.

I received my Bachelor’s in the Science of Psychology while minoring in Child Development from the University of La Verne in 2023 and my Master’s in the Science of Marriage and Family Therapy in 2026.

In addition to providing psychotherapy, I am the Neurofeedback Director at GPS. I am certified through Brain Trainer's Whole Brain Training Program as a Brain Trainer and Neurofeedback technician. Using non-invasive EEG technology, I am dedicated to helping individuals optimize brain function and improve overall well-being through evidence-informed neurofeedback training. Since 2022, I have worked with clients seeking support for attention, stress regulation, emotional resilience, sleep, cognitive performance, and overall brain health.

My approach is personalized, collaborative, and focused on each client's unique neurological patterns and goals. Using neurofeedback, I strive to help clients develop healthier brain function, improve self-regulation, and enhance their quality of life. You can find out more about our neurofeedback program here: neurofeedback

In my free time, I am an avid consumer of art, books, documentaries, music, horror, and video games.
