Lilit Hovsepyan, Psy.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY33321) who primarily works with young children, adolescents, and young adults. Dr. Hovsepyan employs evidenced-based interventions to treat common concerns that present during the lifespan. Areas of specialization include anxiety, depression, Autism Spectrum Disorder, OCD, ADHD, self-harm, and interpersonal conflict. Her work also involves psychological assessment for obtaining accurate diagnoses and for measuring progress. Dr. Hovsepyan utilizes strategies from the following therapeutic approaches in order to conceptualize and treat individuals: Gestalt Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), Pivotal Response Training (PRT), Behavioral Parent Training (BPT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Her approach is client-centered and guided by unconditional acceptance and support. She builds upon positive relationships with clients in order to assist them towards their therapeutic goals.
Dr. Hovsepyan received her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree in clinical psychology from Loma Linda University (APA accredited) in 2020. She completed her doctoral internship at Pacific Clinics (APA Accredited) in 2020. She earned her Master of Arts degree from Loma Linda University in 2017 and her Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2011.
